There are numerous water bodies that support various activities from boating, camping, fishing, and other outdoor attractions. Recreation is one of Texas’ important industries. This map service can be used to support decisions related to recreation in the basin. |
Habitat |
The Trinity River Basin not only serves as one of the largest supporting basin for Texas citizens, but also serves an abundance of wildlife that uses the basin and the supporting habitat. Watershed quality and habitat sustainability provide important resources for both a significant number species including game, non-game, and federally threatened and endangered species. Private lands support quality habitat and resources for critical wildlife needs in the basin. This map service identifies data and information important to decision support for ecological restoration for wildlife habitat. |
